Start your next factory on Android. The download panel shows the APK version and device requirement so you can check the file before installing. When updating an existing game, keep to a compatible build and preserve your saves.

Before changing your installation

If you already have a campaign, export your game data from Mindustry’s settings and keep the exported file outside the app. Your sector progress and carefully saved schematics are worth more than the few seconds saved by skipping that step. Keep the same distribution for routine updates so Android can verify the installed application’s signature.

A multiplayer session adds another requirement: everyone needs a compatible game version. Agree on the build before a group starts downloading. A newer client cannot fix a server that still runs a different release; the host and joining players need to coordinate the change.

Your first dispatch

After opening Mindustry, choose a campaign planet to learn its blocks through play. Use a custom game when you want a separate place to test a production idea. You can return to the campaign with a better understanding of how a drill, conveyor and destination fit together.
